Brontez with Brilliant Colors

Brontez with Brilliant Colors showcases a new body of work by the Brontez Purnell Dance Company that combines dance choreography with dance films shot in Super 8. Brontez keeps it punk and street, performing without costume around creative set elements. The event features original scores created by Purnell in collaboration with Taji Maalik, plus opening band Brilliant Colors, and DJ Myles Cooper. Programmed by Betty Nguyen for L@TE: Friday Nights at BAM/PFA. Nguyen is the founding director for Living ARTS Fund and publisher of First Person Magazine.
