The appointment process at MD Anderson for International Patients

If you're one of the hundreds of patients who come to MD Anderson Cancer Center from outside the United States each year, the International Center can help make a smooth transition. Because we understand and respect the difficulty of your decision to travel a long distance for cancer treatment, our International Center is dedicated to assisting with your special needs.

International Center staff can help even before you arrive in Houston. Your International Patient Assistant can discuss, in your own language, the personal items and medical records you will need to bring, any necessary pre-visit financial arrangements, transportation and any other special needs.

The International Center takes care of the details, so you can focus your energy on fighting cancer.
