I have a question... My steer doesnt have enough hair to "Puff" him for the show and the fair is in 3 day. Do you think its ok to just brush his hair down? Also, my steers companion steer is getting slaughtered tomorrow, do you think he will be ok not having his friend for 2 days? Or will he be to depressed to eat?

How come when I wash my showcattle I end up soaked?? and that guy is perfectly dry. Well, it cools both the cows and me off in the summer I guess!

Thank you for this video! My dad's herd is of black angus. Most of those cows though are super gentle they are not all purebred angus though (most are) fathers were but their mothers were Gelbvieh (from when he was obsessed with the breed). Herefords are gentle as well and my bull is a purebred hereford and so the half hereford quarter angus quarter gelbvieh calves I wouldn't trade anything in the world for them :) And they are great showcalves for county fair level, not that fancy but still :D
