Did you have to do a lot of hind leg awareness?

Hello !
Really looks great you and Maggie running the courses.
My sheltie steven also is slightly over the limit in Germany. He has 44cm and the limit is 42,99 cm so he has to jump up to 65cm jumps more than 8" about his own height.
But he is doing well. I only do not got sandy places because there it is to hard for him to reach the height..
Hope to see more videos of you.
regards
Margit

Not unless they've changed it back. They threw out the challenge thing the year Maggie started. I haven't checked in awhile. But yes, she measured just over twice.
Ironically, my young border collie is right at the 18" mark! Must be my destiny. He'll jump 20 anyway though - he's flat at 16. Would be nice to be able to jump 16 in his senior years though and still be in his height group.

I will have to follow up on that challenge card. SInce I was sure that if you are close then you could challenge it. Was she over by a 1/4" on both measurements? You only need 20 QQ for the PAX. No speed points are necessary at this time. You are right that Maggie is a fast Collie and it is great to see her run. I remember all the judges coming over to me to tell me what a nice Collie I have. Now I think they all know me. :)

Ahhhh, you haven't done the measuring process in awhile. You can no longer challenge measurements. You get 2 measurements by 2 officials. If there is a disagreement in height groups, you get a 3rd. Sadly, Maggie will forever be in the 24" group. But yes, the PAX has the same requirements I believe. But the fun part of preferred for me is that when we do Q, we usually win because Maggie is a very fast collie and most people in preferred have time issues. So it's all good either way.
Hi,
