{ http://twitter.com/RyanLange } I decided to keep the Sporster 48 and keep modifying it. I took off the Biltwell 12 inch apes in this video and swapped them for Zbars. I also took off the stock shocks and changed them with Biltwell struts. As far as modification from the stock sporster 48 this now has: zbars, tank raise, no signals, spring solo seat, alren ness big sucker air cleaner, vance & hines short shots, biltwell struts i think that is about it. projects still to finish... chop the fender and sand it, finish the tank raise and wiring, add new controls and grips also going to add a jocky shift.

  • @GuitarRocker2007 i ended up not using the risers so the bars are just around 8 inches on their own

  • Sweet bro. The Z bars give it a cool vintage vibe. Your setting it up like its sposta be. When ya get the Jockey set up make a vid with you riding it. It will take a couple miles, but you'll get the hang of it quick. Next time I go to ILL I will have to hit ya up for some new ink. Ha..Diggin the scoot!

  • was wondering if if u had to adjust the fork tubes to fit the bars, looking to get the keystones for my bike but was told they wouldnt fit unless u raise the tripple tree.... hope to hear your input so i can make my decision. appreciate it

  • to put the new struts , u just lose the bolts ,take the stock fender off and put the new ones??? no lift the bike needed??

  • Where did you get the bars from?

  • great work man! what kind of air cleaner is that?

  • Could you post a link to the z bars you put on Cant seem to find the "Capitol z bars" on lowbrow just got my 48 trying to take some of your ideas to my bike

  • 8inches Z bar?your motorcycle is cool!!, I want to refer to it.

  • Nice bike. You didn't use the risers bc those don't work on the 48 not bc you thought it looked good lol I'd love some on mine. But oh well...

  • Hey Goodnight Technology!

Great bike! Just wondering what you used to insulate the wiring under the tank from engine heat. I imagine that all of that plastic that you removed also served as a heat shield for the wires. Love the idea, just wanna protect my wires too! Appreciate your input....

  • I thinking about the biltwell struts how much did lower it in the back?
