Planning with the Countess to entrap the Count, Susanna pretends to ask him for some smelling salts for her mistress, then agrees to a tryst with him in the garden that evening. The Count suspects something fishy, but doesn't quite know what.

Rewatching this after too long. I miss Dwayne Croft in big Mozart roles, especially his Count Almaviva. I'd LOVE a video of his Don Giovanni. I only caught it once and taped the braodcast, but his Don is very suave and elegant, and not as cruel as so many others. Miss you, Dwayne!!
