As the world becomes smaller and more interconnected, old ways of thinking become less and less suitable. New ways of understanding things must be introduced to adapt to new phenomenons; this documentary attempts to do just that. For most people, ethnicity and identity are seen as one thing. However, I theorize that in the future these two concepts will grow further apart and at the same time become vague. This piece serves as a window into the future as well as into my own personal thoughts.
really like those videos, thanks!

i think the important question of chinese identity is what does it mean to be chinese?
of course overseas chinese is different one to another as it is with the mainland chinese.
i would like to see more video like these especially from chinese in asia.
both chinese indonesian and thailand are 2 of the the biggest overseas population. and of course the malaysian chinese, and singapore a unique country where the overseas chinese is not the minority

I am sure they are pretty sad sometimes since they cannot find a recognition that of integrity. But they would be very different and easy for they would be more often brave to recognize themselves without limitation.

From Part 1~ 4, the conclusion that obviously can be made is that: They simply don't care. Or they would like others see them as someone "in between". Some of them assert that they are just themselves, expressed only by their names. If some of them are from USA, things would be a little different I guess, since USA itself is a migration country and people tend to be a little more "open-minded", since they themselves more or less inherit other countries.
