Sorry, not the video itself, just the audio track. Contains one of Frank's greatest solos.

  • a very very great Hendrıx ımıtatıon.

  • johnny winter's 1980s versions are better

  • @JohnsFavRockers I remember some of the people leaving after it got dark. Ended up partying in someone's RV in the parking lot instead, music was plenty loud enough to reach way beyond OMS. Still don't remember the way I got back to San Diego :)

  • IWT..I was there!!..went with a group, and not all of us came prepared, so, when the sun set & temp drops, OTHERS wanted to leave. I recall hearing FM&MR opening up their set, and I'm thinking..WHY ARE WE LEAVING??..do you hear what we're missing out on? Live/ learn.

  • @jjmc60

    I sure can dig it!

  • The effect you are hearing is/was/ created by whats known as a "GREEN RINGER" effect

  • Saw him in 78 here in San Fran Bay area during a Day on the Green featuring AC/CD .,Aerosmith ,and Ted Nugent Frank stole the show with the most shocking guitar performance I may ever witness. And all the groups there that day were in their prime!

  • Like I said earlier, when it comes to extreme vibrato effects, most people think of Satriani and others of that arena. As you can see, Frank Marino took the vibrato so-called "whammy bar" into another realm nobody else would have ever thought of doing, and before anybody else. He also did it within the context and his interpretation of this particular rock standard tune. The bass player and drummer maintain a solid and precise foundation without adding clutter to the song as well. Pure talent.

  • man this awesome and his guitar playing is so sick.
