I truly admire and appreciate what the HSUS does, but I just think-
WHY demand every cage be BIGGER when we can demand every cage be EMPTY??
-
The worst part is they are over use Anti-biotic!

Poor hens. I absolutely hate the way it is:( I hope this change and legislation works...
I always buy free run eggs.

A bill is a piece of paper, so is the dollar, which one do you think the corps are going to bow to?
great steps forward, but local farming is the only way to continue to eat meat ethically, otherwise choose veg.

Many thanks for making more people aware of this problem !

I love my beautiful hens. And roosters. These horrible cages make me sad, very sad. I WOULD not buy such eggs.

@xThunderKasperx Same here! We have a 4 number system in front of each egg's code where 3 means eggs from caged hens, 2 are the ones who can run around freely, but are never let outside, 1 is freerange and 0 is 'biological' which is the same as freerange, but they get healthy, natural food not factory processed and some other benefits.
