I am embarrassed, because I am a Malay Muslim. But, Masha'Allah, everything that Syeikh Hussain Yee said is true. We (the Muslim Malays especially) need to change now, and follow the true teachings of Islam. Once we're Muslims, we're all Brothers. What Ustaz Hussain said is true. I am a Malay and I ashamed with my people in the past.
The Malay culture is mixed with Hindu that came before Islam. Some of the Malay did practice some of the black Magic etc. They also isolated and narrow minded when think what Malay is what Islam. More worst is a thought that only Malays are Muslim. This happens because of Norms and Dogma of the culture. Luckily it has change now. We also had Chinese Muslim MP, We had change now. Alhamdulillah.
