This is a follow up from our previous video entitled "Md Roof Leak Repair: Estimate For Leaky Pipe Collars", where we actually perform the repairs, including: 1. Removal of old leaking pipe collars and replacement with new neoprene/aluminum pipe collar units. 2. Replacement of asphalt shingles around pipe collars, resealing with Geocel Tripolymer Sealant. 3. Resealing of bathroom fan vent cover. 4. Resealing of heater flu pipe. 5. Fixing and resealing miscellaneous nail "pops". 6. Re-attaching metal ridge vents with new screws (instead of nails) and sealing with Geocel. 7. Tightening gutter spikes and cleaning gutters of major debris.

@john67elco You're right about the screws but you have consider that roofers main tools are :hammer,knife,flat bar ,tool bag and nails. Why the roofer has to go all the way down to the truck dig on the toll box looking for the screw gun and get back to the roof to install 3 screws when you can install 3 nails right away.

Nice nice repairs. By the way, Olympic has those screws with polyurethane washers that work awesome on galv pipe jacks or any metal where u go straight into the face. We use those for like HVAC pans on commercial roofs. You don't need to seal them and they hold for as long as the shingles :)
