Remember, George Washington by his own diary, raised & used marijuana for medicinal purposes. Hemp was going to put a wealthy industrialist (Paper Mill) out of business because his mill would have to have been converted to process hemp, so he bought politicians to make it illegal. US Constitution (original) is written on hemp paper. All Facts.

We should do independent studies on all the illegal drugs, put that information out to the public, make sure everyone has this knowledge, then determine what should be legalized and what should be regulated. Prohibition doesn't work!

@pro404 Well, there's this concept they call "decriminalization", which is instead of jail time you pay a fine and get to keep an untarnished criminal record. However, if you don't pay the fine you get thrown in prison anyway. So decriminalization is kind of a decoy used by politicians to make people think they're more free.

Well statistically it is true. A lot of politicians use that argument in the case for decriminalizing drugs--the fact that it targets minorities. The same thing is true with welfarism in general and certain regulations. I know minimum wage, in particular has had extremely disastrous effects on the poor, and therefore it has hurt African Americans the most. Also, if you look at gun regulations, the first several Bills were specifically aimed at disarming the black population.
