This is a suspense/drama/horror film submitted into Apple's 2007 Insomnia Film Festival. It was completed in less than 24 hours and included the following required elements:

1. Name; Robin Darjeeling.

2. Dream sequence.

3. Match Cut.

We didn't have time to render the grading but other than that we were able to get everything finished without difficulty.

  • Thanks for the comments everyone. As for the thing about the contrast and colors, we didn't have time to render the graded version, so besides the dream sequence everything you see is how it was filmed.

Voting starts tomorrow, I'll post some better instructions on how to vote then for those that don't know how. Be sure to tell everyone you know to vote too, we need all the help we can get!

  • Pretty good!

Acting needed to be more "real". Other then that, great for only 24 hours of work!

  • This creeped me out the first time I saw it. lol

  • Surprise ending. Pretty good.

  • Cool vid guys you should try and transfer into the video pro class at school. You guys would be shoeins.

  • Impressive. I like that you got such a big story in 3 minutes. Colors and angles are cool too. I look forward to whatever you come up with next!

  • Beautiful movie, awesome and great guys, video quality is excelent, very interesting history.

Really and awesome and great work!

  • Very good storyline. I really liked it. My only critisms (I don't mean the in a mean way because I know how frustrating that can be) is that you need a little color correction and contrasting to some of the shots. Also, the horror movie line kinda brings back the reality that the viewer is watching a movie, and for me is the last thing I'd want. Other than that, great job! (btw, I really like the dream sequence shot and the shot at 1:50)

  • good locations, good use of warm colors

  • I like how this turned out. Nice job.

Only criticisms are: indoor lighting and composition in some shots. Otherwise, 2:29 to the end was much weaker than the rest of the film. It was on a much lower level than the rest and the acting/directing/writing kind of fell apart. I'd say you should re-write and re-shoot that just for the sake of the film.

The record player music was fantastic and creepy. You depicted the mood very well. I thought this was a cool.
