OMG I remember how I tought like an hour how you should do that flaming snakes -part! I did that on a paper and everything but the best solution was after all THAT simple!!

Nah, dude. He's just bored, so he keeps crouching waiting as it will burnt. He could also just staying or jumping or whatever. It's just to kill the boredom during waiting. If he weren't crouching, the boards would burnt too anyways.
