Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins invited 10 families from A Place Called Home in South Central Los Angeles to come spend the day in the studio with him to learn the art of music making.

Each family was given a gift bag including an Asus EEE PC 900 laptop computer, CD's and DVD's from 20th Century Fox, books donated from Candlewick Press, etc. Catering was provided by House of Blues, Sunset Strip.
