@lazramyar seen all of em mate....live....only jeane carne and phyliss hyman really got close. and gwen dickie (rose royce). really seen em all. millie jackson, myleena shaw, regina belle, lavine hudson, stansfield (yep), but teena had more, poet, singer ,songwriter, . only streisand is up with her. and i know more than you....

why does so much of this 80's stuff sound so much like Janet Jackson (ie....'holiday or celebrate or whatever....')......is it formulaic ?????? Her voice is wonderful, but the songs are very similar and dated....(ie just like a pinball machine, does anyone refrain with the words 8 track player ??)

I know. I'm a black female and I have no problems and idiotic hate from stopping me from admitting she is and ALWAYS will be the BEST female singer out there (with MJ, of course, being the best male singer of all time lol).

Teena, you are, hands down, THE best female artist of soul! Lady gaga can go back to the stable where she belongs lol. UGH!!! Why couldn't I be born back when music was actually SOULFUL, and most importantly when people could sing.........AND they were actually GOOD?!!! Lmao oh well, thank god for the ipod lol -_-'.......
