Manny hit Kevin Youkilis upside the head in the dugout for no good reason and shoved a 64-year-old man for not fulfilling his ticket request in '08. At that point Ramirez was no longer wanted, and was shipped out of Boston. Manny got a 2 year, $45 million deal from the Dodgers. That didn't last long,he tested positive for a banned substance in the '09 season and missed 50 games. He was dumped, again, by the Dodgers got a 1 year deal with the Rays and played 5 games before retiring in disgrace.

@wegotmorrison he was basically the same guy. there were plenty of "manny moments" before 2008. By July 2008 though he knew he was not going to get the contract he wanted with them, so intead of being in a place he didn't like he made the sox trade him.

@DojangRat Comparing the Manny who helped the Sox win, to the Manny who eventually was traded isn't fair.... He was "controlled" for most of his tenure in Boston.. But in the end, he became way too much of a pain.
