RAGSDALE - I`M GLAD IT WAS YOU

The first time someone suggested that Shi-Anne and Joshua Ragsdale
pursue a record deal together, the Mississippi-raised brother/sister duo
laughed. "Our musical tastes were totally different," says Shi-Anne,
"so we never dreamed we'd be a duo."

Just weeks later, though, when they wrote their first song together,
everything changed.
"It was like being introduced to yourself," says Joshua of the moment.
"It was so amazing," adds Shi-Anne. "It wasn't Joshua's style.
It wasn't my style. It was something we had never heard.
It was the beginning of OUR music.
We looked at each other, and at the same time we said,
'We're supposed to do this together!'"

I saw this video on tv it seems like years ago. I was able to download the song after messaging Joshua on his Myspace page. I finally found their cd last week. I didn't even know Josh had past. Heartbreaking to go so young especially after a donor had been found for him. R.I.P with God

@mjseyes Yeah ...and a shame , the made only one CD as I have seen on amazon. I´d like to hear more of that wonderbeautiful brother / sister group. But I´m verry sure we´ll see Joshua again in a short time, and maybe they both sing together again for us such wonderbeautiful songs. @slvrjetta Yes...I just read the news on Country Muic News: On Thursday, 1st July, 2010, Joshua Ragsdale lost the long fight against his cancer illness. He fought against leukaemia and was only 32 years old. So sad....I didn´t knew that before...I only wondered, why they made no record for so long. But we got the Resurrection Hope,and Im VERRY SHURE we will see him again !!! P.S. Who is his sisters name...we will pray with her... do you know, if she wants to sing again ...??? Rainy.

He was my closest, dearest 1st cousin... I would have taken his place a year from today... His sister's name is Shi-Anne, also my 1st cousin and she named her boy Joshua a few months ago. He inspired more people while on dieing, on Facebook; than most of us have in our entire lives. His gravestone says it all..

Beautiful and haunting. I find myself irritated that the marrow donor canceled not once but twice. This is not a maybe maybe not event to take lightly. It costs lives. The music left is wonderful. A prayer to his family and fiance.
