Plastic bottle Xmas tree set up in Israel as wildfires destroy forests

Residents of the northern Israeli city of Haifa may have to wait for trees to grow back after thousands were burnt in Israel's worst and deadliest forest fire. Meanwhile, a local industrial designer, with the help of citizens who recycle their trash, has built a Christmas tree made of more than 5,000 plastic bottles. The artist, Hadas Itzcovitch, spent a month building the tree with her family. They collected some 6,000 bottles from around the city, rejecting 1,000 because they wanted the tree to be advertisement-free. Bottle caps were then used to fasten the tree together. Haifa is a mixed Jewish-Arab city with many Christian residents.

You didn't even know the case until i told you about it, so don't act smug about the "truth". They were set free because they were following orders. It would be bad for the IDF to admit to having Palestinians as human shields.

That was one case, if you searched, you would find many more.

You can say it happened, but theres no direct proof it did, thats why they where set free.

On the other side theres tons of videos of hamas taking kids as shields, and besides that point hamas done allot of other stuff thats insane.

Like shooting people for dancing at a marriage party.

Hamas isnt an army btw its a terrorist cell cooperating with al qaeda and Iran to eradicate the jews.

You are part of the problem because you choose to look the other way when real terror is commenced.

@deurklinknl Exactly... the soldiers were set free.. where is Justice? plus this wasn't a single occurrence, this also happened during Cast Lead when Israeli soldiers lined up blindfolded Palestinian civilians in front of their tanks on the border so that Hamas won't attack them.

Hmm these soldiers where set free, so its left to opinion what really happened there.

In contrary to that account i can show you several videos showing palestinian soldiers using palestinian kids as human shields.

So after your statements iam not the least bit convinced of your truth, more of your bias really.

Start with a simple search on Google and Youtube. There are many recorded incidents that are being reported not just by Palestinians and international agencies.. but by Israelis as well. Check b'tselem.

@deurklinknl that's what killed thousands of people? Israel bearly fired a couple of bullets in operation cast lead. It was all air-ground missiles.

I could easily provide proof of Israelis using Palestinians as human shields. Sources are authentic too and unbiased, unlike your IDF sources. After all, they are the most moral army in the world.. LOL.
