This is fantastic! The quality is actually a bit better than others from the tour. Thanks for posting this!

You can feel more "beef" in Jimi's tone in these shows, like the technology may have caught up to him and they made him bigger amps.

I gotta say though, there are parts where Noel Redding tries so hard but only proves he wasn't in Jimi and Mitch's league. The "solo" during "Sunshine of Your Love" is painful.

Star Spangled Banner/Purple Haze must have been mind blowing to see. Amazing!!!

Jimi was absolutely on fire during most these January '69 European shows. The sad thing is the only video from this time is from the awful 1st show from the January 9 Swedish TV thing. Jimi was in a rotten mood. I've heard the second show from that night and it was 100% better. I read a while back that there was film from one of these shows and Experience Hendrix has it.

Anyone hear anything?
