http://www.PokerSitandGoReport.com As wild as you think he may be, Gus Hansen would not do this move in the ealry stages of a tournament because he knows he has an edge against his dumb-ass opponents.

  • @johnnycheck99 actually you should alway re-raise before the flop to get value from those premium hands. If you let your opponents see a cheap flop every time, THEN you will often lose to two pairs, trips. etc. If you raise pre-flop, you don't give your opponents a chance to draw cheaply. You either win the pot immediately if everyone folds, or you will play a big pot against just one or two opponents, and you are still a favourite to win. And if you get it all in before the flop, it is great.

  • What is the best way to play premium hands AA KK QQ in 9 seated Sit 'n' Go's in ANY position. I always lose with these hands!!! I call to see the flop quite alot because when i raise big or go 'all-in' i get overtaken with trips,flushes,two-pair etc. So is raising big always the way to go???

  • @sfgox10 You get very little information on a min raise pre flop as ur gonna get called most of the time anyway. Furthermore, he had QJ, which is not a great hand. The guy then calls an all in re-raise with his crappy QJ, so the commentator is correct in his reasoning that both players made bad plays in this example.

  • @superjeff14 Exactly, this guy is stupid. There's a thing called, getting information, mini raise hoping for a reraise with a dominating hand etc.. He's so linear in his thought. He hears "don't low ball" that bet, doesn't think for himself.

  • Min Raising isnt always bad.

  • maybe because it was the first hand?

don't ppl tend to gamble first hand to double up and take control of the table?

  • This is why some people earn money and some dont.

  • @VLenzer he knows how good his hand is...he's just using the program to get the exact numbers. this is helpful when making tough decisions

  • @shify2k8 lol so 'm I :)
