i can somehow imagine sora fighting vanitas to this as the final boss in kh3 and say they fight at the same place you fight xeanhort as terra at the end of bbs, and say instead of fire being around them its a big wall of soras memories.... now wouldnt that be epic.

@TheNext238 Well, that is hard to say. Its depends of Vanitas lingering spirits stability. If he has the same mind as the original, then most likely yes the unversed should still exist. If VLS only has thought of defeating Ven, Aqua, Terra, etc, then he may not be able to control them because they are his emotions, into shapes of monsters.

@TheNext238 Remember, you were able to fight Vanitas' Lingering spirit because the negativity couldn't disappear. of course, they never actually versed him. However, this negativity could still exist right now in the current stroyline.

@darkriku2464 Why would Sora be fighting Vanitas. He was erased. The whole reason why Ventus' heart is resting in Sora's is because he completely mollywhopped his darkness.
