Zondag 19 juni 2011. Sint Gotthardpass, Zwitserland!! (Alte Pass).
Superhertog op zijn KTM Super Duke laat zien hoe mooi deze pass is. Dit keer geen racen........is daar niet verstandig vanwege de klinkers en hobbels!!
Gefilmd met de VIO POVHD.

  • Oh how beautiful place :) Im from finland and i want come there =)

  • Hi @Tomppadejou, thanks for your reaction.

Well........it is a little bit far away!! Maybe you can load the bike in a Van??

Hope you can make it in the future.

    All the best,

    Superhertog

  • Gorgeous footage, as usual. Thanks for this :-)

Next season it will be time to replace my good old Duke 3 with a SD. Not quite sure yet whether to go for the R model or not. Biggest concern after a test ride is the saddle of the R, that thing is literally a major pain in the ass. Aftermarket saddles seem to be available though. Didn't get a chance to ride the regular SD yet, have you tried both? If so - would you recommend a regular SD over an R (with replacement saddle) outside of race tracks?

  • Hi Traxxed, thanks for your compliments!!

I never tried the SDR, but if I ever buy a new bike.......it will be the SDR!!

For you however it depands of what you will do with the bike. Will you go to the circuit, buy a SDR!!

Will you ride more comfortable and with a passenger sometimes, buy a SD. Also a SD if you want to go on holiday with the bike. For outside the "regular" SD is very fast. As more haipins, as more advantage in comparison a supersport. Go for a test ride and use the rpm limiter.

  • What an astonishing place! Just think how outrageously fun it would be if there was good ol' asphalt down that pass tho...

Keep up the good videos Superhertog, cheers from Italy

  • @pazzown3d, thanks for your reaction.

If you are living in the North of Italy, the St.Gotthard is not far away for you. Maybe next year?

But in June we were in the Dolomites. Also a awesome place to be with a motorbike!!

    Take care,

    Superhertog

  • That's the old Original-Route, a have-to-do for every biker (-; the scenery is one of the most beautiful, nearly no cars, they use the new route.... top vid!

  • @Superhertog No problems bror! ;) I have only moped.. its top speed is limited in 45km/h but i cut limitmanagement and it passes over 60km/h :)
