I got to witness something really special. About a dozen tea party activists had staked out Sen. Al Franken's booth, and confronted him loudly when he arrived. But within minutes, he'd turned an unruly crowd into a productive conversation on health care. The discussion went from insurance reform, to the public option, to veterans benefits, to cap and trade. He made a few laugh and even told a touching story that moved a few to tears. A whole lot of common ground was found.

Replace "out of character for democrats" with "out of character for politicians", and you've got yourself a more accurate statement. This isn't just about the democratic party. As an example, the republican party has all but crumbled because no one kept tabs on the politicians who represented them (the Bush administration) and they expanded the powers of the federal government. They did the exact opposite of what they were elected for, but somehow they listened more?
Al Franken: disagree with his ideology, but at least know that he's not bought off by the large corporations. Everyone should be a 'one issue' voter on that one. Corporatism is devouring us alive behind the scenes and most are completely unaware of it.
Al Franken steals the show just like he stole the Minnesota election. Wake up, people. The Socialists are trying to take control of America. Contact your Senators and tell them to KILL THE BILL. Abortion and Euthanasia should not continue to be funded by our tax dollars NOW and in the future...
really coullion43 are you being serious moron, you actually believe everything you wrote there? wow... you're wrong, and i could explain why, but you're probably just an internet troller so stfu!
How is he lying? There may be more to this exchange than what's shown in this video; maybe they were more whipped up before he settled into the middle of the group to answer that woman's question.
carlrs15, are you an idiot? The TITLE of a video generally reflects what a video is. I really don't see how I can make this concept any clearer.
It's kinda like a video named "Best Boxing Match of the Year," yet when we actually see it, it's a low-impact sparring match between friends. There's no agreement between title and product.
