  • @lowlux1 What is bullshit, that your Fiero doesn't have airbags, or the airbag itself?

I can tell you first hand, I was in a crash, at about 25mph in a 1993 Plymouth Sundance, I hit the back of a 1994 Oldsmobile Silhouette that was stopped, my airbag deployed, the front of the car crumpled in, and I walked away without so much as a bruise.

  • Very good program! Thanks for sharing!

  • @1993MercuryCougarXR7 No. Most of Chrysler's '80s and early '90s stuff was Omni/Horizon and K-car based, making it easy for them to air bag equip most models. (Less engineering required for only two platforms.) Inexpensive Fords, like the Escort and Tempo came with the electric "passive restraint" seat belts in the late '80s to early '90s. Full size and luxury models had air bags sooner than entry level models.

  • damn, my 1996 peugeot 106 has no airbags

  • Lincoln Towncar had them towards the end of 1989 for the new 1990-1997 Generation and they equipped them in the ford t-bird and cougar in 1994. also they experimented with the airbags in there leading taurus sedan. so chrysler is a bunch of shit

  • my 1986 fiero does not have air bags.... its bullshit
