Why didn't you use a better load so we could the maximum current from them.

@andy232005 Honestly, the maximum current you'd get out of one of these with the seebeck effect is pretty small. Once you get the about half an ohm, the voltage start dropping like crazy. That's why I don't recommend using these as batteries unless you've got a lot of them in series, and a good network of voltage regulators going to your load.

It is amazing you got 2 volts from that. I just got some TEGs to experiment with power generation while winter camping, can't wait to try them! Did your units have a model number, or wattage associated with them? I'd be cuious to know which ones you got. Cheers!

Yes, they're TEC-12709, each is 136.8 watt.
