Bon was a GREAT lyricist. he didnt just rhyme random words, like....oh you know who, he painted you a picture and took you somewhere with a clever sense of humor as well. Brians voice is GONE, people, has been for a long time. He turned in outstanding performances on back in Black and For those about to Rock,(thanks entirely to Mutt Lange, producing) but had to switch to that fake falsetto after that cos it was trashed. Listen to the live stuff of Brian. They mix him almost out cos it sucks.

I don't know how Bon Scott did it. He sounded like a naughty boy, a wild libertine and friendly yet frightening devil all at the same time. I just wish I wasn't typing all this in the past tense. My son was suprised when I told him that there was a singer in AC/DC before the bloke in the Andy Capp hat, who still is AC/DC to a lot of people.

@jujuhound69 Bon could really sing. He had a voice like no other. He would'nt just scream,he would do this squeel/yell/scream..very good and very missed.

Bon is cute... I admit it and I am a 38 year old woman.. He has one hell of a voice and he has fire in his eyes.. I swar to God... Sometimes I see fire in them... Bon will live on forever and Brian has done a FANTASTIC job of capturing Bon's voice.. People laugh at me when I tell them that Brian is not the original singer of AC/DC. Oh well.. AC/DC still lives on!
