i live 7 miles away from washington in a town called west chester i dident flood but we got shit loads of rain

Hey i live in burlington and it was a bad flood!!! i helped sand bag downtown for this flood it was so bad that the people in the burlington hotel didnt move back for all most 8 months and our steam boat days was cancelled every year it is so much fun

Its so hard seeing my hometown in this condition.: ( and i cant believe big muddys is no more
it brings me to tears.
Ill be moving back tho-- this friday actually! Im so glad to be going home!
I was there during Steamboat days, then the rest of it got cancelled, then i had heard the concerts were supposed to be finished at Fun City, but that obviously didnt happen lol

Thank you for your video! I grew up in Burlington nd spent nearly 30 years there. I am currently in Des Moines (dealing with our own flooding) but definately appreciate seeing what is happening there. Our SBD tickets have gone to waste (we were supposed to be there Friday and Saturday) but it is easy to see why! I could tell where you were before you said so as I know those streets well. It's 93 all over again. Thanks and stay safe!!
