Even though I had no big interest in the Republican nominee race, I think you're right to say that Huckabee's nomination wasn't "impossible." The more appropriate term that should have been used would be "improbable." Nevertheless, Huckabee didn't get the nomination, so the pundits turned out to be correct, even though they jumped to conclusions.

as far as im concerned no one has a right to to say that a canidate is definatly going to be good or bad, because until they are elected its just like trying to predict the future. All we have is a idea of what the person might be like, but no one can be indefinatly sure
