The synth he's playing was the then (new) Korg Triton Extreme at the NAMM of 2004. Just a jam recorded with a digital camera. Quality isn't great, but what a spirit!

  • That's NAMM 2004 you doofus.

  • You are right. When I upped it I didn't know if I could trust the creation date of the video. Thanks for the correction :).

  • I saw Ellis perform last night here in Jacksonville FL with our Symphony.. It was a Tribute to Ray Charles.. It was the first time I had ever heard him sing and it made my ears smile as big as he does..

  • I saw Ellis Hall a few times at Jacks as well. He tore the roof off the place! Used to have a singer named Patty Unitas who killed it. Always wonder what happened to her. What a talent!!!

  • Man... I used to catch every show Ellis Hall did at Jacks on Mass Ave in Cambridge, MA is the late 70s. The band was out of sight.

  • And thank you for ignoring the fact that I called you

    "doofus." Sorry about that! :O)
