@tizit88 the HMS Bounty has a crew of 18 and costs about 4 million $. But the big drawback of this type of ship is not the many people needed to sail it or its price but its upkeep.
It is currently owned by The HMS Bounty Organization LLC which use her to train cadets into the art of classic sailing. They even made a trip around the world a few years ago.
Bligh was not a Captain, but a Lieutenant. As only a Captain's rank could command a frigate or above, and these were being kept for a possible war with France it was decided by the admiralty to use a small armed transport ship for the breadfruit mission and put a Lt. in charge. Bligh was the best man for the job, having been Cook's navigator to Taihiti. He had been overlooked for promotion due to an overbearing attitude, even to other officers, but he was a first class navigator.
Interesting. another utuber by the name of 'JohnWindChannel' also claims to be a descendant of the same mutineer William Muspratt though his account is closed on utube. please type 'The HMS Bounty - Information short' in the search box.
i was and am fascinated by the bounty and the mutiny and any further details and historical facts will be greatly appreciated.

Does the ship leak? There are pumps to get water out, as you can see the holes for the water...

Fletcher Christian, the master's mate, on Bounty died on pitcairn islands in 1793. He was killed in clashes with the tahitian men.
