Mysterious Mohenjo-daro, Pakistan

Mohenjo-daro meaning Mound of the Dead was one of the largest city settlements in the Indus Valley Civilization which thrived in ancient times along the Indus River. Mohenjo-daro itself is located in Larkana District in the modern day province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built before 2600 BC, the city was one of the earliest urban settlements in the world, existing at the same time as the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Crete. The archaeological remains of the city are designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Has anyone considered a more reasonable solution than ancient aliens? If there is a lake nearby Mohenjo-daro in Pakistan; then that would/could explain the vitrification, as meteorites releases enough energy to instantly turn rock molten. An example of the energy releases from a meteorite impact can be seen in the 1908 Tunguska event and the resulting lake Cheko in Siberia. This demonstrates that there are reasonable explanations for events; if you honestly follow the evidence. ;O)

now i would just like to comment on the use of vocabularly. notice i used the words : supposed, presumed, suggests that and supports this theory"? thats because most knowledge comes from doubt and modesty. notice how history.cm uses words as "is, certainly, must have etc.." that suggests an indoctrinating scope rather than an intellectual confrontation.

It is presumed that that river is what now we call the river gange. satelite images of harrappan cities including mohenjo daro reveal an ancient river bed which supports this theory. the shifting of the river bed is thaught to have been caused by an earthquake. specifically about this documentary: radiation levels may be caused by natural geological formations, as for example plutonium or uranium.
