Ejami - Sami and EJ Digest The News About Johnny - 01/12/11

At home, Allie asks Sami when Johnny will be get better. Sami and Rafe exchange a look and she says she's sure it will be soon. Once alone, Rafe asks if EJ and Nicole are really getting married today. Sami says they are, but it won't make Nicole the kids' mother. Rafe vows to get something on EJ. EJ goes ballistic at the hospital when the doctor tells him the cancer has spread to Johnny's other eye. Nicole has to pull EJ off the man. The doctor explains he needs to do more tests, warning that the rapid growth indicates the cancer is aggressive. The doctor goes to put Johnny to sleep, but returns to say he's asking for his mother. Nicole tells EJ they have to involve Sami. He disagrees. Nicole says she doesn't want Sami there either, but Johnny does and he needs to feel safe and secure about things. EJ and Nicole show up at Sami's door. She rants at them and tells them to just get lost. Nicole stops her from closing the door and insists she really needs to hear what they have to say. Sami continues to mock them. Nicole tells her they are not getting married today. Sami pretends to cry and asks if they fell out of love. EJ tells her to shut up and listen. He says they just came from the hospital, where they left Johnny for tests. EJ struggles to tell Sami what is happening, but Nicole has to finish. She says the cancer has spread to the other eye. EJ, Nicole, Sami, and Rafe come storming in. Lexi, Dr. Kim, and Daniel explain to them that Carly will perform a complicated laser surgery. EJ asks about the surgery and Sami gets angry - she promised her son he would still be able to see. Sami cries in Rafe's arms.

Nice that Nicole is actually willing to put the welfare of the child, Johnny, over the petty issues that Sami and EJ are currently having!! EJ got one thing right, when he said that Nicole is a good mother, and that she ALWAYS puts the kids first. She wants Sami there for JOHNNY... regardless of Sami's "drama and pitiful" act! Nicole can actually be an adult sometimes ;-)
