lol Ditka & Butkus were teamates & after Ditka left the bears he was washed up. He was one of the 1st if not 1st receving tightends. Now the league is full of those tightends:Athletic,strong,hand
s,faster than ever look at Shocky,Gates & Vernon Davis. Hell even some WRs today are bigger than Butkus & Ditka. Lol Brandon Jacobs is bigger than olinemen of that era -

Dick Butkus couldnt make it in todays game. Sorry to brake in down to you guys. He's a hard hitter and a sure takler but todays game you need way more to succed in todays games. Butkus went up against 250lbs linemen and had two cover slow unathletic tightends. Football players wont even full time players back then. You really think he could cover Gates, Gonzales, or V. Davis or hit Stephen Jackson or Jacobs with ease? Go against 320lbs plus athletic linemen of today? I don't. Hes not the best

where's urlacher! i understand maybe bednarik, derrick thomas, or jack ham, but urlacher. he's no where in the top 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ray Lewis is a 1st ballot HOF. He was the leader of the 2000 Ravens defense, one of the greatest of all time. I'm a steelers fan, so I must a good reason putting him on the list.
