I LOVE THIS GAME! Still play it in 2012! Best WWF GAME!!

I used to go to my cousins house just to play this game and Wrestlemania 2000. These games were the shit, way better than the current wrestling video games.
-
@Jamin93 The foundations are teh same because AKI/THQ is behind both projects. But the things they added were HUGE and really made it an entirely different game.
-
@intoccabile No man, I remember playing this at my friend's house now. It's pretty similar to WCW/NWO. The same developer made both games. Yes, maybe there are small differences like what you listed but they're pretty much similar besides the different Wrestling companies.

@Jamin93 No.. they added so much more. They added pressure points to specific body parts, they added the weights so smaller guys couldnt lift teh bigger guys and animations to match. They added backstage fighting, tables and tables breaking, etc. The game had the total package. pretty much, what you see in any Smackdown Game Today is nothing different than what was here first. This did it all first. The graphics and this are the same as no mercy, thats about it.

@Jamin93 this had a bad ass backstage mode

I never played this, I had WCW/NWO Revenge. This seems exactly like that game but with WWF.

am i the only one who began saying you suck along angles entrance?
the wrestling games may not look as real and flashy as the ones now, but they were way more fun

So it's pretty much the same as WCW/NWO: The Revenge.
