Hatsune Miku - Crybaby Pippo (ナキムシピッポ)

Since I've come crying all the way to you...

You know, I could swear I've heard that chorus... at LEAST twice before. (In *Hello, Planet. and The Weekend's Coming!, to be exact.) But no relation to that series, I'm sure.

I'm not quite sure what a Pippo is. I'm thinking it's a close relative of (I love all the) Ponyo(s!) and may have a taste for vegetable juice. (But really, it's probably her name. Names is all Google seems to turn up, after all.)

Lovely translation work. The song might not be the originalest ever, but the lyrics sure make up for it. One thing, though -- doesn't "kimi no bun made naku" mean something more like "I'll cry your share [of tears]?" Or does bun have other meanings my pitiable moon knowledge don't cover?

@TheUndeadNinja Yeah, I considered (post-video) that it's probably more along the lines of "I'll even cry for you," which makes equal sense with the following line. ("I've been crying all the way, so you shouldn't" versus "I'm crying for you, so you don't have to.")

I pretty much got the line in the video by reading "bun" as something similar to "koto," which I THINK it can be, but the other way seems a bit more reasonable to me now.

Awwww, I can relate to this, I've seen so many of my friends in pain I just wanted to go over and ask them to share their tears with me, then maybe they wouldn't suffer so much. And the ironic thing is, near the end of the song I was shaking and gasping but couldn't cry, and I actually wondered wether I has run out of tears. D:
