Dreamkeepers: Spark of Brilliance songwriting workshops

Based in Guelph, Ontario, Spark of Brilliance is a mental health organization that promotes healing through arts. During the spring of 2010, Spark of Brilliance organized a songwriting workshop at the Working Centre's Commons Cafe in Kitchener.

Led by iconic Canadian songwriter James Gordon, participants at each session crafted a song in 90 minutes, developing topic and themes, contributing lines and imagery, tinkering with melody, refining and polishing, singing and celebrating.

The resulting series of songs will be performed in live concert at the Commons Cafe over two evenings at the end of June and recorded for a CD called Dreamkeepers.
