Welcome to this special tutorial from http://AllFreeKnitting.com. In this video you'll learn the difference between two common decreasing methods: K2tog (knit 2 together) and ssk (slip, slip knit).

While both of these methods reduce your total number of stitches by one, ssk leaves you with a left leaning stitch, and K2tog leaves you with a right leaning stitch. By mixing and matching these methods, you can easily create intriguing designs in your knitted work.
