  • She is dancing perfect.. yaa.. her perfection does look like that of a Guru..

is this full alaripu and other items available here or on some other site?

    please let me know..

  • Cant post links here. Just google for Chandra Devi and you'll find more clips

  • shouldn't somone of her age be performing a little more advanced dances like Tillana. But she did good.

  • Oh, she's my guru, she can dance really well! Check out the clips on her own site! As it is not possible to include URLs in comments, I can not send you a link. Just google for Chandra Devi and check out the "fotos and clips" menu (top menu bar)! Have fun!

  • This is very different from the Alarippu presented in Sudharani's Raghupathi's video on DancingIndia. net

  • @AnimeFreazk101 Tillana is the Last item performed in a kucheri! Alarippu is usually danced first in the traditional margam. It is more like a warm up. There is nothing wrong in anyone performing an Alarippu.

  • Nice strong positioning. You can do a sharp and fast alarippu, but to always do such a dance the same way defeats the art of dance. I enjoy the grace in her movement, tempered by her underlying strength. She makes it look easy, and even a seasoned dancer will say that alarippu is one of the most difficult dances to perfect.

  • She smiles beautifully and is very beautiful, so that helps, but there's not enough crispness...alaripu should be very precise...it's too soft

  • wow that was really beautiful, bless your talent!

  • She is so bad! Allarippu should be fast. It represents the beautiful blooming of a flower. It should increase its speed as the "flower" starts to bloom and take its original form. She doing the steps with an unecessary grace.

  • she's not an Indian originally, isn't she? She moves like an European women, not an Indian.

  • That video remind me of Vyjayanthimala's dance in "New Delhi" film....

  • I think she is in one bharathanatia dvd on geedvd/com
