Heres a video showing the Datel Wii Retro Wireless Controller and another IOS Emulator.

This time its Snes9x EX!

As I said in the other videos I couldnt get the controller to work with the other snes emus. This one however works with the controller very very well.

The button layouts picked up without having to configure anything. Everything works almost flawlessly, except sometimes theres a little lag with button presses or sometimes dont register at all (as u can see in the punch out vid).

Another detail is that the spaces in between the d pad arent registered nd havent figured out a way to. So playing street figher was a bit tricky.

Still its well worth it!

Thanks to youtube member etneji for bringing my attention to Snes9X EX for IOS, nd thanks to Rakashazi for finally releasing a snes emu that I can play using this controller.

  • I can't seem to get this to work well enough so that Snes9x EX is "playable" with this controller... It's a real shame, but whatever I try then most of my button presses don't do anything, or if they do it can be up to 10 seconds later. I will keep trying...

  • @TMothy73 It happens sometimes, I dont kno if its software or controller. Once I restart the program and controller, normally works fine.

  • where can you download the games can you make a tutorial

  • How much of a delay is there? It looks like more on some games and less on others. I know on the PC app I tried there was about 1/2 of a second delay.

  • can you guys confirm being on an ipad1 or ipad2? will it lag on an ipad2?

  • @mrbonner Hey man thanks for your reply. Mine works less than half the time it seems, but I have noticed a difference in the layout of your controller compared to mine... On mine the Datel logo is under a single red LED whereas it looks different on yours. The sticker on the back of mine says its a DUS0260. So I'm guessing there are different versions.

  • This is very cool, thanks for posting. I think I will order one of these controllers. I was looking at an Amazon page for these controllers and the two reviews that were there complained about a delay when using them. Does it seem quick enough with the iPad, no delay problems? Cheers!

  • haha that's nice, now that i know it works, i m going to get one of these controllers.

    thx man
