  • If you were to conduct a study where you have two groups of drummers (one that watches the video, and one that skips the talking) that have no prior experience with linear funk, which group would you bet on to do better? This dude is trying to help people not only to know their stuff, but to UNDERSTAND it. If you don't like it, gtfo.

  • @metalfan9151 Thanks very much for your support! Greatly appreciated!

  • If you don't like the video, go watch another one you Twizzler dick motherfuckers. God it's Youtube. It's not like you paid for this lesson.

  • @TheDustyspears Thanks man!! I obviously understand that a lot of people don't want to hear in depth explanation. They just want to hear playing. But that is not what some of my videos are about! Once they realize it is not something they want to watch....I agree with you....just move on!! I also appreciate constructive criticism but when people leave ridiculous comments....no time for it!! Thanks for your comment, it is much appreciated!!

  • @funky2714 Yeah man, you hit the nail on the head. Youtube has too many videos of drummers just blazing through something and only saying a couple of things about it. For once somebody chooses to explain it in depth, and they're pissed 'cuz they gotta waste a few minutes of their boring lives.

People forget that if they wanted to learn this stuff from a pro, they'd have to pay hundreds of bucks to take classes and spend hours a day learning it.

  • @TheDustyspears Thanks again man!!

  • ( First of all, sorry about my English...) Great, great...GREAT teacher ( and player, of course!!). Your explanations are absolutely necessary. They ( 8mathdaddy, ben2nd) are the ones that don't want to learn, 'cos they may think they know everything. ben2nd is even chauvinist! ( what the fuck means "talk more than a chick"?) In case they're drummers, they should sell the drumsets and buy a Roland, or even better, go back to the trees they hung off...

  • great job perhaps a lesson of moellar. tech as well?

  • hey man been playing over 25 years have studied out of future sound and li.ear grooves think you did a great job of explaining the pattern and breaking it up around the drums s

  • Great vid man! really help me with my funk drumming

  • Excellent lesson. You actualy teach people something. The people who have dogged on it should have just looked at the length before they clicked on it. Clearly, they wanted to be entertained by watching somebody else do something and not LEARNING anything. There are plenty of alleged "lessons" out there that are nothing more that somebody trying to show off what they can do and calling a lesson that actually teach you nothing more than how big their ego is. GREAT JOB!
