  • @eathenicus Whatever you've been reading is wrong. Mac's use the same processor as any other PC. Most creative software is available for both Mac and PC, and neither runs better. I use my Windows workstation for my job in the visual fx and animation industry and it works just fine.

    From what I've read and seen in those behind the scenes videos, most computers major studios use are running on a MAC OS. This is because most creative software run well on a MAC, because of the processor. Most Windows PC have too much junk running in the background, and this can be really frustrating when dealing multiple files in development of a film, animated film, or magazine spread.
