  • I just pray this kid doesnt listen to anything anyones said here cause most of the comments are bad advice

  • My friends walks like this even with a coach, and they say its more natural than a forced straight walk.

Because of weight transistion and from the video I think you have to agree he walks more naturally right?

If I'm not wrong players like Robert Smith and Sean Rash also tend to drift like the player above although not as obviously.

  • Very impressive but it can't be to good for you in the long run. Looks like you're about to dislocate your shoulder. If you add some more mass as with weight lifting maybe you'll improve your motion like Robert Smith. Keep it up!

  • @Ub3rn00berer I should mention my right elbow injury had nothing to do with bowling. It was a bad accident.

  • I always opened my arm a little more to the right in the back swing, but I had a very similar elbow bend and rotation on the ball, though it was more left turn on the ball for me. This guy seems to sort of "force" it end over end at the release which is sort of working against what he's doing with the elbow bend. But whatever works. My turn and release was very similar to Tommy Jones of the modern pros, though i was never as consistent or accurate. I injured my elbow and now bowl lefty.

  • @louisdiaz316 its hard to keep it low when you have fast feet and a low number side heel and toe

  • @prowii52 Pardon me, but who is your coach? Hasn't he heard PBA greats with bent elbow? Starting with great Earl Anthony, Don Carter, the most recent PBA pros, Sean Rash, Robert Smith, Bob Vespi and many others they bent their elbows including Norm Duke (from time to time), all successful PBA bowlers can play different games to suit the lanes conditions.

  • Regardless of how good we are on the lanes, throwing a high rev powerful ball is still an envy for us who are not able to do so and miss the opportunity to impress the ladies.

  • I really don't understand why ppl swing their leg so high like he does. I mean I obviously do that but not like I'm gonna do a back kick lol :P

  • @mrsabine111 yea i dont see many bowlers with the cocked elbow. my coach tells me the same thing

  • I also have a cross over step like his in my approach, and it works perfectly! Nice release. To my liking i think his leg could stay a bit lower but it's ok as long as it works and you feel comfortable with it.
