@silarnon Yes it would normally however the tardis is controlling the chains,
Which I see that pit as a never ending, hole are something like that.
Which then the tardis lets go over it control once he starts to fall in the pit.
Which since he will fall forever he will never be crush, and since the chains keep him alive like I already explain.
It could work, not saying this si right, just saying this is how it could work.
