Cars should never be compared in straight line performance alone. That said, it is mostly down to driver skill when it comes to it. Unless of course you are on a big long straight road like this one. Which is for pussies as far as i am concerned.

s2000 has 60 bhp more and clio has 150 kg advantage so power to weight is about 20bhp per ton difference so s2000 a little quicker

It's not a waste of filming if you watched it - it's a waste of your time commenting that it's a waste of time. The guys who shot the video decided to use a straight road this time, obviously. Straight line performance is an element of driving cars and this video shows what these cars can do. Dry your eyes.

What is this video trying to prove? You could check the manuals to see what car was faster. This is just a waste of filming.

Another thing would be a curved track which would do the Renault justice by owning that honda in the handling.

Both cars are cool though.
