Bob Cook did a TV show in 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa called Cross Country. Here is the one song I managed to save on 3/4" video tape. I was the audio engineer for most of the shows.

Why don't you email me at: cozlen1@yahoo.com and we can make arrangements. I will also need to dig up the few things I have to share with you. If Gary wants to join us that would be great.

  • cozlen1, I would really like get to gether with you and exchange some of the music that I have, that was never released, for anything that you can allow me to borrow so that I can make copies of it. I meet with Gary Audsley frequently at Fredericks coffeeshop on 22nd St. Would it be possible for the three of us to get together. I know Gary would love to see any of the old fans. Please let me know what would work for you. Pat shell

  • @pshell1952 I never knew Bob but loved him and his band back in the Waterhole days. My wife and I bonded to his music. I have several old record albums (Devil Records?) in perfect shape, I believe in the 1970's that I could part with, along with my own CD recording of Bob being interviewed and playing on KFMG (?) radio. I know he sings Angel Eyes on this show. I would love to get more of his music and am open to helping out others and especially trading for some of it.

Rob, I see you mentioned that you had some tapes of you and Bob. I am working with Gary Audsley to record everything we can that Bob was on. I have most of Bob's recordings that were out in the garage. Probably some stuff you don'r even have. Copies are free to anyone that helps out with the library of songs Bob did. Could you respond to this e-mail and see if we can't get together. Pat Shell

  • @Spelunkersplunk Bob Cook was my uncle. I thought he was a pretty cool guy also.

  • I played guitar and sang with Bob for a couple of years back in the 90's.Never will I play with more gifted musician. To SEE and hear him again.WOW!! Thanks for posting.I've got tapes of things we did as does John B. I learned a lot from him.

  • Love this song. I haven't heard this since the late 60s and was happy to hear it again. Thanks!
