roatan - spooky channel - snorkel - Armand Melanson

roatan - great snorkel spot - head from coxen hole to the north side sandy bay area. Go beyond lawson rock then look for the colorful sign that says "children education library" on the rt and go down that road to what was the island beach resort dive shop ( now defunct ). Park there and walk down to the beach and head west for about 300m to the 3rd pier. Walk to the end of the pier and then swim straight out for about 700m where you will find Spooky Channel, a great mass of coral heads that offers a whole day of great snorkeling
