So much so that I decided to recreate it myself.

I kept pretty tight to the original mixing, with only a few differences (namely the beginning part).

I used Acid Pro 6 (more for music production, so it was not mixed live), I'm new to this so I wasn't able to pull it off live just yet! If there's stuff I messed up or can improve, all constructive criticism is welcomed and is strongly encouraged, regardless of your musical skill. When slicing miliseconds off a load of clips to match up perfectly, you forget the bigger picture, and the benefit a fresh pair of ears provides.

I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it.

I had to edit it slightly to fit in with YouTube's 10-minute limit, but it hasn't really harmed the mix. DOWNLOAD THE FULL MP3 HERE (11 minutes):

I've recently been trying this mix with Virtual DJ+Hercules DJ Console MK1 but I keep messing some bits up. Once I can do it properly I'll upload a new video (maybe if I'm not too shy, I'll actually be in it!), so keep an eye out.

u cant hate on me and say im full of shit but there is no way u did a remake and did it to a T. i know this because u can even here some of the mistakes they did when they were mixing it live. so dose that me u went so far as to even make the same errors they did?

And you're right, it's not exactly the same.

The main thing was I wanted to listen to it on my ipod and have it sounding as good as possible (direct from mp3s instead of ripping the audio from the video and converting it).

I suppose the main thing I did was to start and stop the songs at the same points Xavier did live, that's about it. I wasn't aiming for 100% authenticity as such, just something that sounded close enough while learning by example
