And the sad reality is the NAC isn't covered by the same 1st Amendment as the rest of us. We can practice our religion however we so chose, but the NAC can't; because peyote is catagorized as a drug. If this is the case, alcohol is also a drug and shouldn't it be banned from communion? After all in all 50 states you must be 21 to drink and wine is served to kids who are taking communion, but we turn a blind eye to that.

i cry when i here this. so much sadness in our culture!! our young are imitating stuff they see on tv. i am teaching my young ones the way of the pipe. also how to make a good bow and spear. not a fancy for sale one but one that will put food on the table. makes me sad that not much of that is happenin these days. we will one day have to revert to the old days. after all, all great empires (USA) fall.

I was told as a child, I had native American heritage. Im sure now, it was from my fathers side. All my life (62 now) i have wanted to fell this was true. Only as of lately have I felt the powerful pull of this tiny drop of my ancestors to my emotions. I can say that I only just see and feel a flash of what is a life for so many of you who are whole.
