HDR-SR12 SMTH SLW REC function test (Slow-Mo)

I was testing out the SMTH SLW REC (Smooth Slow Record) function on my new Sony HDR-SR12 HD Camcorder. If you want to see something else, comment and tell me what you would like to see. I will take it into consideration when I film the 2nd slow-mo video. 3 seconds are converted to 11 or the video is slowed down 4 times (4X)

well done, i just got my sony cam and was wondering how it shoots slow motion, thanks for the testing films.

@martineric1966 Depends on the model you have but not all of them have it. For mine it's in the mode option where you can select video, picture, or slow mo.

what is the frame rate?....do u know hwo to adjust the frame rate?

@nicoloopshame The frame rate on regular mode is 29.97 FPS fixed and on the SLW REC feature it's shot at 120 FPS fixed on to memory and then re-recorded onto the internal hard drive at 29.97 FPS effectively reducing the speed by 4 fold. The frame rate isn't adjustable.
